Iowa Distribution Centers Break Ground

The first phase of Endeavor Development’s I-80 Distribution Center has broken ground in Altoona, Iowa. The 300,000-square-foot building is planned for completion in the first quarter of 2023 and is part of a three-phase speculative warehouse project totaling 900,000 square feet. Each of the three Class-A industrial buildings will be 300,000 square feet.

The I-80 Distribution Center is located on prime industrial land only minutes from Des Moines’ central business district and near more than 11,000 households. This location offers prospective tenants convenient access to customers and potential employees and adds to Endeavor’s expanding portfolio in Central Iowa.

Endeavor started construction in April on a 180,000-square-foot I-35 Distribution Center in Ankeny, Iowa, set to deliver in the fourth quarter of 2022. Both projects offer 32-foot clear heights, trailer and vehicle parking and drive-in doors.
